No wearable? Smartphone sensor technology is advanced enough to be able to determine vital signs.

The software has been developed for years but, now being perfected, extracts health measurements from a video stream of exposed skin on the surface of a human face. The video stream is analysed with advanced AI & deep learning algorithms, including computer vision technology & signal processing. No identifiable features, such as eyes, are needed.

In approximately one minute, users can measure blood pressure, heart rate, heart rate variability (SDNN and/or RRi raw data), oxygen saturation, breathing rate, sympathetic stress, parasympathetic activity & pulse-respiration quotient.

The era of bloodless blood tests to measure hemoglobin, hemoglobin A1C, (& cholesterol total is under R & D) using a smartphone or laptop camera. Nine mobile device-derived "blood tests" are planned, enabling users to perform scans without connection to the internet. The technology is seeking FDA approval is available as an iOS & Android app.
